**Legal Counsel
- Bangalore**:

- Hybrid

You will report to the Senior Director and Associate General Counsel, Commercial Legal.

You will be based in India in our Bangalore office, and will join a team of regional lawyers handling an array of interesting challenges around software licensing, Cloud computing, technology consulting, privacy and cybersecurity and corporate matters.

**Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do**:

- Provide legal support for product related technology transactions, including negotiating and drafting technology agreements for Cloud services, OEM, professional services and distribution/resell agreements.
- Maintain relationships with partners in the Informatica teams to stay familiar with business plans and goals (and how these would affect Informatica’s position in contract negotiations)
- Anticipate problems and initiate actions to ensure contractual issues are addressed.
- Help with license compliance initiatives.
- Collaborate with corporate legal on other areas of law according to local requirements (eg Privacy, AI, employment, corporate governance)

**What We'd Like to See**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in law or Juris Doctorate
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience negotiating complex technology contracts gained from either in-house counsel or private practice.
- Drafting and negotiation skills with experience handling complex commercial agreements, including multi-channel distribution, software licencing, Cloud and services agreements
- Meticulously detailed in their work while maintaining a high-level view of the project.
- Understand cultural and partner differences and perceive matters from different perspectives.
- Able to work independently, under pressure and with mínimal supervision.
- Have good judgment and problem-solving skills and comfortable advising and working with senior management.
