Role Description

This is a Legal Tech Assessment Internship for Team Counsel's US Vertical. The intern will be responsible for supporting research and analysis on international legal and regulatory frameworks, assisting with drafting and reviewing contracts, and contributing to the development of tech-enabled legal processes and tools. The role also involves working closely with the leadership team to design and implement legal solutions for cross-border startup and investment matters.

Please note:

  • The assessment period (three months) will be remote, during which performance and compatibility with the team will be evaluated.
  • Upon successful completion of the assessment period, the candidate will be required to work from Bangalore or be willing to relocate to Bangalore.

Qualifications

  • Recent graduate (Class of 2025) from a 5-year or 3-year law program
  • Strong background in corporate law, commercial contracts, and legal consulting
  • Excellent drafting and legal document preparation skills
  • Strong research and analytical abilities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing deadlines
  • Professionalism, commitment, and a problem-solving mindset
  • Interest in foreign jurisdictions and international legal frameworks
  • Prior exposure to the startup ecosystem will be an added advantage
