Job Description - Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities of the role
:

·       Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and RESTful APIs using Django and Django Rest Framework.

·       Integrate with PostgreSQL and ensure data consistency and reliability.

·       Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices.

·       Debug, test, and optimize backend services for performance and scalability.

·       Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver new features.

·       Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.

Requirements:

·       Solid understanding of Python and Django framework.

·       Experience building RESTful APIs.

·       Knowledge of relational databases and ORM concepts.

·       Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

·       Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·       Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly.

Good to Have:

·       Exposure to Django Rest Framework (DRF).

·       Familiarity with containerization (Docker).

·       Knowledge of task queues (Celery) or caching systems (Redis).

·       Interest in writing unit tests or working in CI/CD environments.
