About the role
- Provide day-to-day technical support for end users.
Focus on email account setup, Outlook configuration, basic Windows & Linux troubleshooting, and user onboarding/offboarding.
Key responsibilities
- Provision and manage email accounts (Office 365 / Exchange / Google Workspace).
- Configure Microsoft Outlook (desktop & mobile): account setup, signatures, OST/PST issues, sync troubleshooting.
- Provide first-line support for Windows (10/11) and basic Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) tasks.
- Troubleshoot common hardware (PCs, laptops, printers) and software issues.
- Respond to and update tickets in the ticketing system; meet SLAs.
- Remote support via RDP, AnyDesk, TeamViewer, etc.
- Reset passwords and perform basic AD / Azure AD user/group tasks or coordinate with AD admins.
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding: device setup, license assignment.
- Maintain runbooks and knowledge-base documentation.
Escalate complex issues to senior engineers and follow through to resolution.
Required skills & experience
- 1–2 years in IT support / helpdesk / desktop support.
- Hands-on with Office 365 / Exchange Online and/or Google Workspace.
- Confident with Outlook setup and troubleshooting (desktop & mobile).
- Basic Linux command-line skills: user management, permissions, package install, reading logs.
- Strong Windows troubleshooting: user profiles, networking, Event Viewer.
- Familiar with Active Directory / Azure AD basics.
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, JIRA, Freshdesk, etc.).
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to document procedures clearly.
Nice-to-have
- Basic network troubleshooting (IP, DNS).
- Experience with Intune / SCCM or other endpoint management.
- Basic scripting (Bash / PowerShell).
Certifications: CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, ITIL Foundation.
