1) Account Management
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key buyers and executives for the respective chains
2) Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute sales and marketing plans, including Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and in-store promotions, to drive revenue, increase product visibility, and gain market share
3) Product & Assortment
Drive the listing and distribution of existing and new products (NPIs) and ensure the optimal assortment and placement of SKUs within the respective chains
4) Market Insights & Collaboration
Analyze market trends, competitor actions, and sales data to identify growth opportunities and provide insights to internal teams (e.g., Sales Head, Marketing)
5) Operations & Logistics
Coordinate with internal teams (Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing) to ensure accurate demand forecasting and product availability for the on-ground sales team
6) Financial Management
Manage sales budgets and trade spend in compliance with the annual operating plans and ensure timely collection of payments (Receivables).
Key Skills & Qualifications
1) Proven experience in sales, particularly in Modern Trade (MT) and/or E-commerce channels
2) Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and account management skills
3) Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze data, derive insights and take actions accordingly
4) Excellent communication and cross collaboration skills to work with internal on-ground sales teams and external stakeholders
5) Proficiency in planning and executing sales and marketing campaigns and promotions
6) MBA in Sales and Marketing with minimum of 5-7 years of prior work experience
