Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Manager to oversee our organizations supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring logistics strategies to ensure efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to optimize resources while ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage logistics strategies for inbound and outbound operations.
  • Oversee transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution activities.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with transporters, suppliers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics (cost, efficiency, service level).
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and prepare reports for management.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and speed of logistics operations.
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure smooth supply chain flow.
  • Resolve issues related to delays, damages, or transportation challenges.
  • Lead, train, and supervise logistics staff to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications & Skills:-

  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Masters preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain, warehousing, transportation management, and distribution.
  • Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., TMS, WMS, ERP).
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
