EXIM Executive:

Job Description-

Experience : Minimum 5 Years

Grade- P4/P3

Reporting to :Team Lead -Imports

  • Preparation of pre shipment export documents for customs clearance, under various schemes, and verification of the check lists.
  • Handling Free Of Cost Shipments.
  • Sharing of SLI with freight forwarders/CHA/ Shipping lines/ Airlines.
  • Preparation of post shipment export documents under LC/ Collection basis.
  • Application and issuance of COO (Preferential and non-preferential).
  • Data for issuance of BRCs.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork.
  • Application and issuance of Marine Insurance policy.
  • Ensure compliance related to FEMA, DGFT, Customs and International Trade Regulations.
  • Maintaining export MIS, keeping records in soft copies and hard copies of export documentation.
  • Familiarity with DGFT notifications, EXIM policy, EPCG/Advance Licence/ DBK/ RODTEP, etc.
  • Coordination with Internal teams, freight forwarders, CHAs, and Banks.
  • Vendor Bill Booking and Payment Tracking ( vendor invoices and monitor payment status to ensure timely clearance and maintain financial compliance).
  • MS Office proficiency (Especially Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to use customs/export software/portals.
  • Systems Use: ICEGATE, E Sanchit portals, document management tools.
  • Shipment Tracking: Logistics planning, status updates, issue resolution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Organizational skills, time management, multitasking & problem solving under deadlines.
  • Self-starter mindset, able to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
