ROLE OVERVIEW
The Academic Manager Programs will lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of academic sessions, content, and learning experiences for various programs at the IC3 Institute. This includes managing faculty, overseeing execution of the course content alongside evaluating content quality, ensuring alignment with institutional outcomes, and supporting both in-person and digital learning environments. The role also involves cross-functional coordination, innovation in pedagogy, and data-driven decision-making to enhance learner engagement and program effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Academic Program Execution
• Plan and manage academic session delivery (live, hybrid, recorded), maintaining session calendars.
• Design and organize backup sessions to ensure continuity in case of schedule changes or faculty unavailability.
• Coordinate academic timelines, assignment deadlines, and key academic calendar events.
- Faculty Identification & Coordination
• Assist in faculty outreach by identifying and engaging faculty based on subject expertise and program needs.
• Onboard and brief faculty with IC3s academic philosophy, program goals, learner profiles and orient them about the session deliverables.
• Maintain a dynamic faculty database and ensure proactive scheduling.
- Content Quality Review
• Conduct detailed reviews of the sessions post every intervention, assessing instructional quality and relevance.
• Provide structured feedback on teaching methods, pedagogy, and content alignment with outcomes.
• Share reports with academic leadership for instructional development.
- Syllabi Alignment and innovation
• Maintain updated syllabi and ensure 100% alignment of course syllabi and content with IC3s institutional objectives and learner outcomes.
• Identify and address gaps through collaboration with faculty and content teams.
• Propose innovative teaching strategies/ practices to improve Cohort learning and engagement.
• Pilot selected ideas and assess impact for potential scale.
- Assignment & Project Oversight
• Design, deploy, and manage academic assignments and capstone projects.
• Create and update academic guidelines, develop clear rubrics and grading tools in collaboration with faculty/academic team.
• Coordinate submission tracking, evaluation processes, and timely result publishing.
• Monitor submission status across assignments and projects; follow up on incomplete or delayed submissions.
• Ensure all pending evaluations are completed within deadlines and enter or verify final scores on the LMS with precision.
• Collate individual scores and generate comprehensive academic result reports for internal decision-making and participant records.
- Feedback & Continuous Improvement
• Collect and analyze session-wise quantitative and qualitative feedback, including personal/observational insights.
• Generate improvement reports and implement refinements in faculty sessions or content.
• Lead retrospectives with academic teams to embed learning from feedback cycles.
- Residential Experience Coordination
• Participate in planning and scheduling of the Residential week and finalize academic sessions for Residential Experiences with the partner universities and communicate plans to all stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Provide on-the-ground support at Residential week, ensuring program quality and participant satisfaction.
• Support or lead academic sessions as needed (e.g., facilitation, co-hosting, moderating discussions).
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree
WORK EXPERIENCE: 5 + years of experience with at least 3-4 years experience working in the social sector in academic planning and execution. Preference is given to candidates with experience in the career and college counseling field, education non-profits, nonprofits with underserved/ marginalized communities, e-learning and online/asynchronous program development, instructional design, or an academic institution of higher education.

• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
• Student-first approach with high academic integrity.
• Ability to travel domestically for Residential Experiences at partner universities.

• Exposure to competency-based learning or experiential education.
• Capacity for innovation and leading change in academic settings.
