Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Academic Visionary Leader to shape the academic direction of our institutions and drive them forward in line with industry expectations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing curriculum development, ensuring academic programs meet global standards, and staying ahead of the curve in terms of educational trends.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Academic Leadership
  • Develop and implement an overarching academic vision that aligns with our institutional mission and industry requirements.
  • Anticipate future trends in education and proactively shape academic strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
2. Curriculum Design & Innovation
  • Lead the development of cutting-edge academic programs and qualifications at various levels.
  • Ensure academic offerings cater to evolving domestic and international market needs.
3. Academic Administration & Operations
  • Oversee academic operations, including calendar management, timetabling, and examination schedules.
  • Evaluate and improve student support interventions to enhance academic outcomes.
4. Faculty Development & Institutional Capacity Building
  • Recruit, train, and manage academic staff to ensure high-quality teaching and research.
  • Promote faculty development through training, exposure to best practices, and industry immersion.
5. Quality Assurance & Accreditation
  • Establish and monitor academic quality standards across programs and learning outcomes.
  • Evaluate and improve program alignment with national and international quality frameworks.
6. Industry Linkages & Experiential Learning
  • Collaborate with top industry players to develop relevant modules and internship programs.
  • Foster regular industry interactions to ensure program relevance.
7. Student Employability & Career Progression
  • Enhance student employability through career services and skill-building workshops.
  • Monitor student placement trends and alumni success to inform program development.
8. Thought Leadership, Research & Advocacy
  • Represent our institution in academic forums and policy-level discussions.
  • Encourage faculty and student research on relevant topics.
