Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and customer focused Sales Executive – Events and Catering to join our growing events and hospitality team based, Trivandrum. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our catering and event management services, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of events through proper coordination.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the events and catering segment.
- Meet with potential clients to understand their event requirements and propose customized solutions.
- Prepare and present quotations, negotiate terms, and close sales deals.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients for repeat business and referrals.
- Coordinate with internal teams (kitchen, logistics, event planning) to ensure seamless event execution.
- Conduct site visits, attend events, and oversee arrangements when required.
- Manage client expectations and resolve any issues or last-minute changes efficiently.
- Maintain a database of leads, follow-ups, and closed deals using CRM tools.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to team growth.
- Stay updated with trends in event management and catering to offer innovative solutions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in event planning, hospitality, or catering services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and timelines.
- Customer-focused attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of catering setups, event logistics, and hospitality services is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel for meetings, events, and on-site coordination.
