We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to oversee sales operations within an assigned geographical area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills to effectively manage sales teams and meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Generate leads, build relationships, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Customer Relationship Management:
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Act as a key point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns.
Conduct regular client meetings and business reviews.
Market Analysis & Strategy:
Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales performance and market positioning.
Develop pricing and promotional strategies to enhance competitiveness.
Sales Team Leadership & Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and customer service, to optimize sales efforts.
Train and mentor sales representatives within the territory.
Monitor and report sales performance metrics to management.
Reporting & Administration:
Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular reports on sales performance.
Forecast sales trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in a territory-based role.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales analytics tools.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
