Key Responsibilities:

1. Depot Operations & Fleet Management

  • Oversee daily depot operations including scheduling, dispatching, and monitoring of buses.
  • Ensure buses are properly maintained, serviced, and roadworthy.
  • Manage fuel usage, route allocation, and optimize fleet utilization.
  • Implement systems to track vehicle performance, breakdowns, and downtime.

2. Staff Supervision & Management

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate drivers, conductors, cleaners, and depot staff.
  • Prepare staff duty rosters and ensure adequate manpower deployment.
  • Conduct regular training, safety drills, and performance reviews.
  • Handle disciplinary actions, grievances, and staff welfare matters.

3. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure adherence to transport regulations, RTO norms, and company policies.
  • Monitor compliance with safety standards, including passenger safety and depot security.
  • Conduct audits and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.

4. Financial & Administrative Control

  • Monitor operational expenses such as fuel, repairs, and overtime costs.
  • Prepare and manage depot budgets, cost controls, and monthly reports.
  • Oversee ticketing, revenue collection, and reconciliation processes.

5. Customer Service & Stakeholder Management

  • Address passenger complaints and service-related issues effectively.
  • Coordinate with government authorities, contractors, and third-party vendors.
  • Ensure punctuality, cleanliness, and comfort in bus services.

6. Continuous Improvement & Reporting

  • Identify gaps in operations and implement process improvements.
  • Use data analysis and reporting tools to enhance efficiency.
  • Submit regular reports on performance, incidents, and KPIs to management.

Bus Washing & Cleaning Operations

· Manage and deploy housekeeping/washing staff effectively through duty rosters.

 Train staff on cleaning standards, chemical usage, and safety precautions.

 Monitor staff performance and take corrective actions when required.
