About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Django Report Developer with strong expertise in Python, Jinja2, and Django ORM to design and develop dynamic, data-driven reports based on business requirements. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of relational databases and an analytical mindset to enhance and optimize reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain dynamic reports using Jinja2 templating language and Django ORM.

- Translate documented business requirements into accurate and insightful reports.

- Implement best practices for report design, performance, and scalability.

- Work independently in a Kanban-driven environment with daily stand-ups and progress tracking.

- Identify trends, optimize report generation processes, and recommend improvements to the custom-built reporting system.

- Collaborate with team members and leads to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code.

- Provide and accept constructive feedback to continuously improve the teams deliverables.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong understanding of Relational Databases and data modeling.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Hands-on experience with Jinja2 or similar templating languages.

- Experience in other reporting frameworks such as JasperReports.

- Proficiency in Object Relational Mapping (ORM) systems, particularly Django ORM.

- Exposure to MySQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Bigtable, Apache Hadoop).

- Familiarity with Payroll, Accounting, or Construction domains.

- Active participation in open-source projects or technical communities.
