Report Developer :

About the Role: Report Developer

Duration: 3 months

Location: Hyderabad Preferred, Remote also okay

Timings: Full Time (As per company timings)

Notice Period: (Immediate Joiner - Only)

Experience: 5-7 Years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write reports based on documented business requirements using the Jinja2 templating language and the Django ORM

  • Utilize established best practices to create dynamic reports based on business rules

  • Work independently in a Kanban-driven workflow with daily standups to track progress

  • Recognize trends and suggest system-wide changes to the custom-built reporting system

  • Accept and provide constructive feedback to other team members and the team lead to meet business needs while maintaining high-quality report code.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in Computer Science and Engineering

  • Familiarity with Relational Databases

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Jinja2, or similar, templating language(s)

  • Experience in other reporting systems, such as Jasper

  • Experience with Object Relational Mapping systems, such as the Django ORM

  • Experience in Payroll, Accounting, Construction, and other tech-enabled services industries.

  • Active participation in open-source projects or technical communities.

  • Experience with MySQL, NoSQL (MongoDB/Bigtable/Apache Hadoop)
