We are looking for a motivated and technically sound Junior Django Developer to join our back-end development team. This role is ideal for individuals at the start of their careers but with a solid grounding in software engineering principles and a strong understanding of Python and web development fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain server-side logic and APIs using Django
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to deliver integrated web applications
  • Work with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and manage schema migrations
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the development stack
  • Learn and follow best practices in Django development, security, and scalability

Requirements

  • Proficient in Python, with a strong understanding of Django framework
  • Solid knowledge of web fundamentals HTTP, REST, client-server architecture
  • Experience working with relational databases and ORMs
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for basic integration
  • Understanding of version control systems like Git
  • Awareness of common security practices and performance optimization
  • Strong logical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Django REST Framework (DRF)
  • Exposure to Docker, Linux environments, or basic DevOps
  • Understanding of unit testing and test-driven development
  • Experience working on side projects, internships, or GitHub contributions
  • Basic knowledge of frontend frameworks (React, Vue, etc.)
