About the Role:

At Student Tribe, we're building digital products that connect a 6,50,000+ strong student community with real-world opportunities. We're looking for a Django REST Framework Developer who can build scalable APIs and backend systems that power our platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain REST APIs using Django REST Framework.
  • Collaborate with frontend and mobile teams to integrate APIs.
  • Work on database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
  • Debug and resolve backend issues efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Python and Django REST Framework.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
  • Familiarity with authentication, permissions, and API documentation.
  • Experience with Git and version control workflows.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with deployment (AWS, Render, or DigitalOcean).
  • Hands-on with Celery, Redis, or background tasks.
