About the Role

Rabbitstay, a fast-growing hotel booking platform, is looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong Django expertise to join our in-house team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable backend systems, APIs, and integrations that power our mobile and web applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python & Django.
  • Build and manage RESTful APIs for mobile and web applications.
  • Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and migrations (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
  • Ensure security, performance, and reliability of backend systems.
  • Integrate with third-party services (payment gateways, SMS/Email providers, etc.).
  • Collaborate with frontend and Flutter developers to deliver new features.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and session management.
  • Manage deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and production support.
  • Write unit tests, integration tests, and documentation.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of backend development experience with Python & Django.
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, Celery.
  • Hands-on experience with Django ORM, Django Rest Framework (DRF).
  • Familiarity with server management (Linux), Docker, and deployment (AWS/DigitalOcean/GCP).
  • Good understanding of scalability, caching, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with Git version control.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
