Java Backend Engineer:

Location: Hi Tech City, Hyderabad [Hybrid]

Employment Type:  Contract to Hire [FTE after 9 months based on performance]

Experience Level: 4 to 15 Yrs

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot, with hands-on expertise in microservices architecture, containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices that are efficient, secure, and reliable.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment.
  • Use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of services.
  • Implement and monitor cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 4+ years of professional experience as a Java Backend Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
  • Solid experience with Microservices Architecture.
  • Proficiency with REST APIs, JSON, and related web technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
