We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer with strong experience in AWS cloud services, DevOps tools, and database design and optimization. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable backend solutions while ensuring performance, reliability, and security across the system.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java (Spring Boot / Spring Cloud).
  • Implement scalable and secure backend services deployed on AWS (EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, etc.).
  • Integrate backend services with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
  • Apply DevOps practices for automation, CI/CD, and deployment using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems using AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Prometheus/Grafana.
  • Collaborate with front-end, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment.
  • Optimize performance and ensure code quality through proper testing, code reviews, and documentation.
  • Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies for development and sprint delivery

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in microservices design patterns and distributed system architecture.
  • Exposure to IaC (Infrastructure as Code) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, Step Functions).
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and container orchestration.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
