Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, particularly in B2B environments, and possess excellent negotiation and customer service skills. This role involves engaging with clients to understand their needs, providing tailored solutions, and driving business growth through effective territory management and lead generation.
Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients through outside sales efforts and account management.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
- Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data.
- Perform product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to prospective clients.
- Engage in cold calling and direct sales initiatives to generate leads and close deals.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align strategies for lead generation and brand promotion.
- Upsell products and services to existing customers, enhancing their overall experience.
- Manage assigned territory effectively, ensuring coverage of all potential accounts.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process to foster long-term relationships.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends.
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales, with a focus on B2B sales preferred.
- Familiarity with technology sales or technical sales is a plus.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing leads and customer data.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing market trends and performance metrics.
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation, upselling, and closing deals effectively.
- Background in retail sales or inside sales may be beneficial.
