We are seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) dedicated to our Digital & Performance Marketing vertical. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in selling digital marketing services, a strong understanding of client needs, and the ability to convert leads into long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Outreach
  • Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, and Upwork/freelance platforms.
  • Identify and target businesses in e-commerce, startups, SMEs, and global brands looking for performance marketing solutions.
  • Build and execute outreach campaigns tailored to client pain points in digital growth and online advertising.
  • Support the Director with proposals, presentations, and sales collateral.
  • Business Development & Partnerships
  • Conduct discovery calls with prospects to understand their digital marketing goals (SEO, PPC, Social Media Ads, Paid Campaigns, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the internal performance marketing delivery team to craft tailored service offerings.
  • Build partnerships with marketing consultants, agencies, and referral networks to expand market reach.
  • Research digital marketing events, webinars, and conferences for participation and lead generation.
  • Monitor competitor offerings and market trends to sharpen positioning.
  • Relationship Management
  • Build and nurture trust-based relationships with international clients.
  • Ensure smooth handover of clients to the performance marketing execution team.
  • Maintain long-term client engagement to drive retention, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1–2 years in sales/business development at a Digital Marketing Agency or Performance Marketing firm.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, Paid Ads (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Amazon), and lead generation campaigns.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English with strong persuasion and presentation abilities.
  • Sales Tools: Proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM systems, Upwork, and email automation tools.
  • Mindset: Target-driven, proactive, confident, and comfortable working with international clients.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred).
