Job Title: Assistant Manager / Manager – Accounts & Finance

Location: Andheri (SEEPZ), Mumbai

Industry: Retail – Luxury Lab-Grown Diamond Jewelry

Department: Accounts & Finance

Reporting to: Head of Finance

Joining: Immediate joiners preferred (Retail industry experience is a plus)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Types of Payments:

Process and manage vendor payments.

Oversee payments for diamond purchases and finished goods labor.

Handle IGI certificate payments, hallmarking payments, rent payments, and brokerage payments.

Manage petty cash and utility payments.

Process marketing payments and project-related expenses.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee payments and salaries.

2. Store Opening Process:

Update GST address details for new stores.

Assist in arranging insurance for new stores.

Coordinate the setup of EDC machines and ensure DQR compliance.

Manage the process for cash pickup related to new store openings.

3. Asset Register Management:

Maintain and update the company's asset register

Track and report on the depreciation and valuation of assets.

4. Tax & Compliance:

Prepare and file TDS returns in compliance with government regulations.

Prepare and file GST returns.

Assist with store audits and warehouse audits.

Ensure store compliance with financial and legal standards.

5. Banking & Payments:

Oversee and process NEFT/RTGS transactions.

Ensure timely signing and clearing of cheques.

Manage and monitor funds in transit (FIT).

Perform bank reconciliation on a monthly basis.

6. Reporting:

Prepare and review monthly financial reports and summaries.

Monitor and analyze store profitability and cost efficiency.

Handle customer refunds and ensure accurate records.

7. Audits & Queries:

Respond to auditor queries and provide necessary documentation.

Assist in internal and external audit processes.

8. Other Responsibilities:

Maintain and ensure the accuracy of financial records and data entry.

Assist in handling store complaints related to financial issues

Contribute to ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

· 4–7 years of experience in Accounts & Finance (Retail industry preferred).

· Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and compliance processes.

· Hands-on experience in financial reporting and analysis.

· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Immediate joiners will be preferred.
