Job Summary: The Senior Accounts Executive is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, preparing accurate financial statements and reports, and ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Operations Management:
  • Oversee and manage the full spectrum of daily accounting activities, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) maintenance.
  • Conduct bank and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies promptly.

  • Manage and process payroll, ensuring accurate calculation of salaries, statutory deductions (like EPF, ESIC, PT), and timely payment.

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare and review accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss statements, and Cash Flow statements.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insightful reports and commentary to management to support strategic decision-making and business growth.

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

  • Compliance & Audit:

  • Ensure strict compliance with all local and national financial regulations, including GST, TDS, and other tax laws.
  • Oversee and coordinate with internal and external auditors during periodic financial audits.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal financial controls and procedures.

  • Team Leadership & Mentorship:

  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior accounting staff and account executives.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments (e.g., HR, Operations) to resolve complex financial or procedural issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree (e.g., MBA in Finance) or professional certification is often preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 4-7 years of progressive experience in an accounting or finance role.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proven proficiency in accounting software Tally and advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of taxation and regulatory compliance (e.g., GST, TDS, Labour Laws).

Pay: ₹40, ₹50,000.00 per month
