Living Things is an IoT (Internet of Things) platform developed by iCapotech Pvt Ltd. We help companies save electricity by making their air conditioners smarter. Our system connects to ACs and monitors how much energy they use, allowing businesses to lower their electricity bills, reduce carbon emissions, and use energy more responsibly. On average, our platform helps save 15% energy by analyzing real-time data and optimizing AC performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact with the Embedded and Operations team regarding the site issues and do the needful RCA.
  • Decode new AC remote protocol and give end to end code support.
  • Visiting the sites on an urgent basis, understanding the issue and giving a detailed RCA report on observation done.
  • Maintaining a daily report on device status on field with clear clarification of issue bifurcation and RCA

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science or a related field.● Good understanding of Python scripting for automation/reporting.
  • Basic understanding of embedded systems lifecycle—from development to field deployment.
  • Familiarity with ESP32 platforms.
  • Ability to debug and interpret firmware logs and device crash reports.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple devices across different regions/sites.

Preferred/Bonus Skills:

  • Basic understanding of C programming.
  • Experience in working with IR sensors.
  • Knowledge of versioning and configuration tools (Gitlab, Gitea, etc.)
