Role & responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems at project sites.
  • Review and ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and standards.
  • Prepare and maintain Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and quality records.
  • Conduct site inspections for concrete, reinforcement, formwork, finishes, and MEP works.
  • Monitor material testing (in-house and third-party) and ensure test results are within acceptable limits.
  • Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Ensure proper documentation of QA/QC reports, including NCRs, corrective actions, and material approvals.
  • Support in internal and external quality audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
  • Promote quality awareness and training among site teams.
  • Maintain calibration and upkeep of all testing equipment and laboratory facilities.
  • Drive continual improvement in construction quality through process enhancements.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of IS codes, NBC, and relevant QA/QC standards.
  • Hands-on experience with quality management systems and construction materials testing.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to lead site QA/QC teams and coordinate across disciplines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA/QC documentation software preferred.
