QA Engineer:

Role & Responsibilities

As a QA Engineer, you will be instrumental in upholding the quality of our client's advanced web applications. You will collaborate closely with development teams to implement robust testing strategies, ensuring the delivery of exceptional, bug-free software.

Main tasks include

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and procedures for web applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to integrate testing seamlessly into the development lifecycle.
  • Design, build, and maintain manual and automated test cases for functionality, performance, usability, and security.
  • Conduct hands-on testing to identify, document, and track defects effectively.
  • Analyze test results and provide clear reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Continuously enhance QA processes and practices by incorporating industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional QA engineering experience, focusing on web applications.
  • Proven experience in both manual and automated testing, with proficiency in modern automation tools (e.g., Chromatic, Playwright, WDIO, Cypress).
  • Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and RESTful APIs.
  • Solid knowledge of test automation best practices, including Page Object Models and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of locator strategies for test automation.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Business-level English communication skills.
  • Experience with Selenium
