We are looking for an individual to conduct on-ground quality control activities, including inspections and tests. The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for verifying that all materials and workmanship comply with the project's quality plan, ITPs, and technical specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of incoming materials to ensure they meet project specifications.
  • Carry out stage-wise inspections of works as per the approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Prepare and raise Inspection Requests (IRs) to the relevant parties for witness and approval.
  • Maintain comprehensive quality records, including inspection reports, test results, and checklists.
  • Coordinate with third-party laboratories for material testing and review the results.
  • Identify and document any non-conforming works and assist in closing out Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Ensure all testing and measuring equipment on-site is properly calibrated.
  • Provide support during quality audits conducted by the client or other parties.

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of material specifications and testing procedures.
  • Familiarity with relevant IS Codes and other industry standards.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain clear and accurate records.
  • Good communication skills.

Qualifications Required:

  • B.E. / B. Tech or Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline (Civil).

Experience Required:

  • 3 to 8 years of dedicated experience as a QA/QC Engineer on construction sites.
