Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Career Counselor – Head of Sales to lead student counseling, manage sales targets, drive admissions, and ensure complete conversion and recovery for our 100% Job Guarantee IT courses.

The role focuses on guiding students, pitching job-guaranteed programs, handling lead-to-admission conversion, and maintaining high recovery ratios through professional communication and follow-ups.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Target Achievement

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly admission sales targets.
  • Handle inbound & outbound calls, walk-ins, and online leads.
  • Pitch 100% Job Guarantee programs, explain training modules, placement assistance, and career outcomes.
  • Conduct professional career counseling sessions to understand students' backgrounds and suggest suitable IT domains.
  • Maintain strong conversion ratios from leads → counseling → admission → recovery.

Lead Management & Conversions

  • Follow up on all leads provided by digital marketing, walk-ins, references, and franchisees.
  • Perform complete sales cycle: pitching → objection handling → counseling → conversion → documentation → recoveries.
  • Track lead status and maintain CRM/Excel sheets regularly.

Recovery & Fee Management

  • Ensure timely fee follow-ups, installment reminders, and maintain monthly recovery targets.
  • Coordinate with the accounts team for fee status, dues, and documentation.
  • Maintain high fee recovery discipline with polite but firm communication.

Counseling & Student Guidance

  • Understand students' educational background, strengths, and career aspirations.
  • Suggest correct IT domains (Python, Full Stack, Testing, Data Analytics, Cloud, etc.).
  • Educate students about job roles, package expectations, and placement processes.
  • Build trust and long-term relationships with students.

Team & Branch Operations

  • Guide and mentor junior counselors for improved performance.
  • Coordinate with trainers, HR, and placement teams for smooth batch planning.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy – admission forms, ID proofs, agreements, etc.

Required Skills & Qualities

  • Strong communication and convincing skills.
  • High confidence in pitching job-guaranteed IT courses.
  • Target-oriented and aggressive in achieving numbers.
  • Excellent follow-up and negotiation abilities.
  • Good knowledge of IT career paths and job roles (preferred).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with pressure handling skills.

  • Experience in EdTech, coaching institutes, or IT training industry.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools, Excel, and lead management systems.
  • Previous experience in sales + counseling + fee recovery roles.
