Housekeeping Room Attendant

The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of guest rooms and public areas. The role ensures that every guest experiences a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, sanitize, and arrange guest rooms according to hotel standards.
- Make beds, replace linens, restock amenities, and ensure proper room setup.
- Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including fixtures, tiles, mirrors, and floors.
- Maintain cleanliness of corridors, service areas, and assigned public spaces.
- Refill housekeeping trolleys and ensure sufficient stock of supplies.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or lost & found items immediately.
- Follow all safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols.
- Assist with laundry operations when required.
- Handle guest requests with courtesy and efficiency.
- Support deep-cleaning schedules and spring-cleaning tasks.
- Ensure timely room turnovers to support smooth front-office operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous housekeeping/hotel experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills and professional grooming standards.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
