Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled EDI Specialist with strong expertise in Oracle Applications R12 and advanced PL/SQL development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of EDI transactions that integrate with Oracle R12. You must be proficient in EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT), understand R12 data structures, and be capable of building PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions to support seamless B2B transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support all EDI transactions (inbound and outbound) with trading partners.
  • Design, develop, and maintain EDI mappings and integrations with Oracle Apps R12.
  • Write efficient and optimized PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and SQL queries to support business logic.
  • Coordinate with trading partners and internal business/IT teams to ensure successful EDI onboarding and processing.
  • Monitor EDI workflows, investigate and resolve failed transactions, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain documentation for all EDI processes and technical setups.
  • Ensure data consistency and compliance with business rules and trading partner specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • B.Tech / MCA or equivalent qualification.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in EDI development and support.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle R12 (Order Management, Shipping, Inventory, AR) tables and data flows.
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with PL/SQL (procedures, functions, packages, views, indexes, etc.).
  • Experience with EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and document types such as 850, 855, 856, 810.
  • Experience working with EDI tools/platforms like SPS Commerce, Sterling Integrator, or BizTalk.
  • Strong SQL skills and understanding of ERP data models.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AS2, SFTP, and VAN-based EDI.
  • Prior experience working in manufacturing or logistics domain.
  • Familiarity with Oracle EBS workflow and concurrent processing.
  • Exposure to EDI testing tools and environments.
