Overview
We are looking for a highly competent Google Ads and Analytics Specialist to support the day-to-day running and technical optimisation of our ad accounts. You will fix tracking issues, maintain our campaigns, ensure data accuracy, and carry out daily/weekly tasks that keep our advertising running efficiently.
The Marketing Manager owns the strategy you will be the technical executor and campaign operator.
Role & responsibilities
Tracking & Analytics Infrastructure
- Audit and fix Google Tag Manager container issue
- Ensure accurate GA4 tracking across all events, conversions, and eCommerce behaviour
- Maintain cross-domain tracking + staging + blog subdomain if used)
- Clean up redundant tags, triggers, variables, and improve GTM structure
- Ensure server-side tagging compatibility if required in future
- Maintain conversion accuracy across Google Ads and CRM integrations
Google Ads Campaign Management
- Day-to-day management of Google Ads across Search, Shopping, and Performance Max
- Check budgets, pacing, search terms, negatives, impression share, and Auction Insights
- Upload ad copy, test variations, manage headlines/descriptions
- Build new campaigns from provided structures and keyword lists
- Maintain custom labels, feed-based campaign segmentation, and Tiers (T1T5)
- Monitor competitive positioning and adjust bids where needed
- Diagnose disapproved ads, feed mismatches, and policy issues
Feed & Merchant Centre Support (Meeting Store)
- Assist with feed troubleshooting in Google Merchant Centre
- Support custom label setup and mapping for Shopping and Performance Max
- Manage product disapprovals, GTIN issues, and item-level errors
Reporting & Data Integrity
- Provide weekly dashboards showing spend, clicks, conversions, cost per conversion
- Report impression share changes vs competitors
- Identify search term risks and opportunities
- Provide product-level and keyword-level insights
- Ensure GA4 and Google Ads data match as closely as possible
- Flag anomalies early (feed drops, tracking breaks, sudden CPC changes)
Quality & Workflow
- Follow structured naming conventions across campaigns, ad groups, and GTM
- Document changes clearly before and after implementation
- Provide time estimates for tasks before starting work
- Support monthly account audits
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience managing Google Ads accounts (Search, Shopping, Performance Max)
- Strong understanding of GTM events, triggers, variables, and data layers
- Advanced GA4 knowledge (conversions, audiences, attribution, cross-domain)
- Experience with Merchant Centre for eCommerce feeds
- Comfortable troubleshooting messy or inherited setups
- Ability to communicate clearly and simply in English
- Detail-oriented and consistent in daily task management

- Campaigns run smoothly with no dropped conversions
- CPC reduced over time with more efficient spend on high-intent terms
- Weekly reports delivered consistently and cleanly

- Healthy Merchant Centre with minimal disapprovals
- High confidence in data accuracy for strategic decisions
