Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Sales Manager to lead our sales operations in the industrial consumables distribution sector. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of experience in driving revenue growth, managing high-performing sales teams, and overseeing operational execution. This role demands strategic thinking, customer connections, market insight, and a hands-on approach to ensure profitability and sustainable expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute annual sales plans aligned with business growth targets
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of field sales executives
  • Identify new market opportunities and expand customer base across industrial sectors
  • Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies to maintain market leadership

Revenue & Profitability Management

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets with a focus on profitability
  • Optimize pricing strategies and discount structures to balance volume and margin
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with finance to track receivables and ensure healthy cash flow

Operational Oversight

  • Oversee order processing, stock availability, dispatches, and customer service standards
  • Ensure alignment between sales forecasts and inventory planning
  • Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key industrial clients and channel partners
  • Resolve escalated customer issues and ensure high satisfaction levels
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in lubricants, chemicals, or industrial products
  • Proven track record of leading teams and delivering consistent growth
  • Strong understanding of industrial lubricant applications, customer segments and customer base
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and ERP systems
