About the Role:

The Senior Process Associate – AR (DME Billing) will be responsible for managing the end-to-end Accounts Receivable process for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) clients. The role requires handling claim follow-ups, denial management, payment posting, and resolving outstanding issues with insurance carriers to ensure smooth cash flow.

Location: Mohali (On-Site)

Experience: 2–4 years of experience in AR calling / DME billing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle insurance follow-up calls to resolve pending or denied DME claims.
  • Analyze denials and rejections; initiate re-billing or appeal processes as required.
  • Verify claim status through payer portals and telephonic follow-ups.
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA compliance and company quality standards.
  • Collaborate with peers and Team Leads to meet daily/weekly AR targets.
  • Prior experience in US shift environment is mandatory.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of US Healthcare RCM, DME billing, and insurance processes.
  • Experience in denial management, claim follow-up, and AR recovery.
  • Good knowledge of CPT/HCPCS codes, modifiers, and DME payer rules.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) for US client interaction.
  • Working knowledge of billing software such as Brightree, Kareo, or Medisoft preferred.
  • Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work under deadlines.
