Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Developing and executing financial strategies, creating budgets, and forecasting financial performance.

  • Financial Operations: Managing daily financial activities, including accounting, cash flow, and treasury management.

  • Reporting & Compliance: Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports and statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

  • Strategic Leadership: Working with the CEO and other executives to set financial goals, identify growth opportunities, and make strategic decisions regarding investments and funding.

  • Risk Management: Identifying and managing financial risks, and ensuring the organization's financial stability.

  • Team Leadership: Building and leading a high-performing finance and accounting team.

  • Stakeholder Relations: Maintaining strong relationships with banks, investors, and other stakeholders, and presenting financial information to the board of directors.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is typically required.

  • Certifications: A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is often preferred.

  • Experience: Extensive experience in accounting and senior financial management is essential.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills are crucial for analyzing data and making sound financial decisions.

  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in financial software and accounting principles (e.g., GAAP) is necessary.
