Role Overview

We're seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient ServiceNow CMDB & Discovery Specialist to lead configuration management and discovery initiatives across our enterprise IT landscape. This role is critical to ensuring accurate asset visibility, dependency mapping, and data integrity within the ServiceNow platform.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, implement, and maintain the CMDB architecture aligned with ITIL best practices

· Configure and optimize ServiceNow Discovery to ensure accurate and timely asset detection

· Develop and maintain CI classes, relationships, and reconciliation rules

· Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and application teams to ensure CMDB completeness

· Monitor and troubleshoot Discovery probes, sensors, and patterns

· Perform data quality audits, gap analysis, and remediation

· Support integration of CMDB with other ServiceNow modules (ITOM, ITSM, HAM/SAM)

· Document processes, workflows, and configuration standards

Required Skills & Experience

· 6+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery

· Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and network protocols

· Experience with MID Servers, patterns, and custom probes/sensors

· Familiarity with ITOM modules like Event Management and Service Mapping

· Proficient in JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, and REST/SOAP APIs

· CSA certification mandatory

· Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Job Type: Contract

Pay: ₹ ₹875.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
