Role Overview

The General Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing the company's Sales, Marketing, and IT departments, ensuring that all verticals work cohesively towards business growth, revenue generation, and operational excellence. This role requires a strategic thinker, a hands-on leader, and someone with strong prior experience in managing multiple teams within the EdTech industry.

Key Responsibilities - Sales Management

  • Lead, train, and supervise the entire sales hierarchy — Team Leaders, Senior Sales Executives, and Sales Executives.
  • Create sales targets, monitor daily performance, and ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly goals.
  • Develop and implement lead management, conversion funnels, and customer retention strategies.
  • Conduct regular review meetings with the sales team to maintain motivation and productivity.

Marketing Oversight

  • Coordinate with marketing managers, designers, and content teams to execute brand campaigns and digital promotions.
  • Plan and track performance of campaigns across Meta Ads, Google Ads, YouTube, WhatsApp Marketing, etc.
  • Supervise influencer partnerships, content calendars, and PR collaborations.
  • Maintain synergy between sales and marketing activities to improve lead quality and brand positioning.

IT & Digital Infrastructure

  • Supervise the IT and tech support team for maintaining CRM, website, LMS, and backend panels.
  • Ensure smooth data flow between sales, operations, and reporting systems.
  • Oversee implementation of automation tools for performance tracking, analytics, and reporting dashboards.

Leadership & Strategy

  • Act as the bridge between the Founders and department heads.
  • Design quarterly growth strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Evaluate performance metrics (revenue, lead flow, conversion ratios, cost per acquisition).
  • Recruit, train, and retain high-performing team members across departments.

Key Requirements

  • 7–8+ years of experience in a senior management role within EdTech, Education, or Skill Development companies.
  • Proven experience handling multi-department teams (sales + marketing + IT).
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, CRM tools, and sales funnels.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making ability.
  • Tech-savvy with familiarity in platforms like Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Zoho/HubSpot CRM, etc.

Salary & Benefits

  • CTC Range: ₹6,00,000 – ₹9,00,000 per annum (Negotiable based on experience)
  • Performance Bonuses: Quarterly & Monthly KPI-based incentives.
