About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our retail store. The Store Manager will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of customer service, managing the store's sales and operations, overseeing a team, and driving profitability. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to make strategic decisions that benefit both customers and the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Store Operations:
  • Manage the daily operations of the store, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Oversee store layout, product displays, and inventory management to ensure products are well-stocked and displayed according to company standards.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and other staff.
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to enhance employee skills and job satisfaction.
  • Schedule and assign tasks to staff based on business needs, ensuring adequate coverage during peak times.
  • Customer Service Excellence:
  • Foster a customer-centric environment by providing exceptional service, handling customer complaints, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Set customer service standards for the team and ensure those standards are consistently met.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction levels through feedback, surveys, and direct interaction.
  • Sales & Profitability:
  • Drive store sales and achieve revenue targets through effective merchandising, promotions, and upselling.
  • Analyze sales data and performance reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop strategies to maximize store profitability, including inventory management, cost control, and effective product placement.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Oversee the replenishment and organization of stock, ensuring inventory levels are maintained and items are properly tagged and stored.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and coordinate the process for inventory checks and stocktaking.
  • Manage inventory shrinkage and loss prevention strategies.
  • Financial Management:
  • Ensure the store operates within the budget, controlling expenses such as payroll, supplies, and inventory.
  • Prepare and manage store financial reports, including daily cash reports, sales figures, and monthly performance assessments.
  • Handle cash management, banking, and store deposits.
  • Visual Merchandising:
  • Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards to create an attractive store layout and promote products.
  • Organize promotional events, in-store displays, and seasonal merchandising to drive sales.
  • Marketing & Promotions:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute local store promotions, events, and advertising campaigns.
  • Ensure promotional materials and signage are correctly displayed and updated in the store.
  • Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure the store complies with health, safety, and legal regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment for both staff and customers.
  • Perform regular safety checks and maintenance of store equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail management role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to resolve conflicts professionally.
  • Ability to analyze sales and financial reports to drive business decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using retail management software, POS systems, and MS Office.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, retail management, or a related field is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in retail merchandising and visual displays.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and loss prevention techniques.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Bilingual (if applicable, depending on store location).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹220,000.00 per month
