Role & responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Golang.
  • Implement and optimize REST APIs ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Work with Kafka/RabbitMQ for event-driven systems.
  • Design data models and optimize performance across SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, QA, DevOps).
  • (For SDE-II) Lead design & architecture of scalable systems, mentor junior engineers, and drive best practices in CI/CD, observability, and performance optimization.

Preferred candidate profile:

For SDE-I (Backend Engineer):

  • 1-3 years of backend development experience.
  • Proficiency in Golang (Python is a plus).
  • Good understanding of REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Exposure to event-driven architectures (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
  • Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving and eagerness to learn.

For SDE-II (Backend Engineer):

  • 3-6 years of backend development experience.
  • Strong expertise in Golang and Kafka/event-driven systems.
  • Proven experience with distributed systems & microservices.
  • Solid experience in SQL & NoSQL databases.
  • Hands-on with Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong system design, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
