Role & responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using C# and .NET (Core/Framework).
- Build, optimize, and manage SQL Server / PostgreSQL databases, including queries, stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end applications and third-party services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (front-end, QA, DevOps, product) to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Ensure application scalability, security, and maintainability through best practices in coding and architecture.
- Participate in code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in development, testing, and production environments.
- Stay up to date with emerging backend technologies, frameworks, and tools to propose innovative solutions.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on backend development experience in C# and .NET (Core/Framework).
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server / PostgreSQL) including schema design and optimization.
- Proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and database performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture principles.
- Experience with REST API development and integrating backend services with front-end or mobile apps.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
