Loan Processor

, you'll play a key role in our mission — ensuring every loan is processed with
accuracy, care, and integrity

, while supporting applicants throughout the process.

What You'll Do

  • Process
    residential and/or small business loan applications

from intake through approval.

  • Review borrower documentation for
    accuracy, completeness, and compliance

.

  • Communicate with applicants to
    gather missing or clarifying information

.

  • Coordinate with
    underwriting, compliance, and support teams

to move loans efficiently through each stage.

  • Maintain
    accurate and timely digital loan files

within internal systems.

  • Ensure all loans comply with
    federal, state, and internal lending regulations

.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience

as a Loan Processor (mortgage, consumer, or business loans).

  • Hands-on experience with
    loan origination systems

(e.g., Encompass, Blend, or similar).

  • Familiarity with standard lending documents —
    W-2s, tax returns, credit reports

, etc.

  • Sound understanding of
    lending regulations

(RESPA, TILA, ECOA).

  • Comfortable using
    cloud-based tools

(Slack, Google Workspace, CRM systems, etc.).

Bonus Points

  • Bilingual

(especially Spanish, Haitian Creole, or other underrepresented languages).

  • Experience with
    CDFIs

or mission-driven lending organizations.

  • Understanding of
    low-income or underserved borrower

profiles.

Compensation & Culture
