Role Overview:

The Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding, analysing, and documenting business processes across departments to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. The role requires strong analytical skills, process mapping expertise, and the

ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into clear process documentation and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:


• Conduct process discovery sessions with stakeholders to understand existing workflows, challenges, and objectives.


• Document current-state (As-Is) processes using standard tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, BPMN).


• Design and propose future-state (To-Be) process maps that align with business goals and digital transformation initiatives.


• Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and automation opportunities within processes.


• Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and management to gather and validate requirements.


• Maintain and manage the process repository and related documentation.


• Support business case preparation for process improvement or automation initiatives.


• Facilitate workshops and walkthroughs to align understanding across stakeholders.


• Provide insights and recommendations to improve process efficiency, compliance, and user experience.


• Assist in defining KPIs and success metrics for newly implemented processes.

Required Skills & Competencies:


• Strong understanding of business process management (BPM) concepts.


• Proficiency in process modelling tools (e.g., MS Visio, Lucidchart, , ARIS,

Miro).


• Experience with requirements elicitation and documentation techniques.


• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.


• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.


• Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles

(preferred).


• Knowledge of ERP, CRM, or workflow automation tools is a plus.

Qualifications:


• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, IT, Engineering, or related field.


• 3-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in process improvement or

transformation projects.


• BPM, CBAP, or Lean Six Sigma certification is an advantage.

Key Deliverables:


• Process maps and documentation (As-Is / To-Be).


• Gap analysis reports and improvement recommendations.


• Business requirements documents (BRDs) or functional requirement specs (FRS).


• Stakeholder sign-offs and workshop summaries.
