Role Overview

We are looking for a Learning Designer & Facilitator with 2–3 years of experience to design engaging learning experiences and confidently facilitate sessions for early-career and mid-level professionals. The role combines instructional design, content creation, and live facilitation (online and in-person) to bring our programs to life.

You will work closely with subject-matter experts, coaches, and business stakeholders to turn business needs into impactful workshops, toolkits, and learning journeys.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Learning Design & Content Creation

  2. Design end-to-end learning experiences (workshops, short modules, journeys, micro-learning, toolkits) based on defined outcomes.

  3. Convert raw inputs (SME notes, decks, videos, articles) into structured, learner-friendly content.
  4. Develop facilitator guides, participant workbooks, exercises, reflection sheets, and case studies.
  5. Create interactive elements – polls, breakout activities, scenarios, role plays, games, and reflection prompts.
  6. Adapt content for different formats – virtual sessions, in-person workshops, self-paced modules.

  7. Facilitation & Delivery

  8. Facilitate learning sessions (60–180 mins) for small and mid-sized groups, both online (Zoom/Teams/Meet) and in person.

  9. Use interactive tools (breakout rooms, whiteboards, polls, chats, etc.) to drive engagement.
  10. Set up and close sessions professionally – introductions, context, norms, instructions, debrief, and action planning.
  11. Confidently manage group dynamics, encourage participation, and handle questions.

  12. Needs Analysis & Evaluation

  13. Support learning needs analysis by gathering inputs from stakeholders, surveys, and feedback forms.

  14. Define clear learning objectives and align design to those objectives.
  15. Create feedback forms and simple pre/post assessments to measure impact.
  16. Analyse participant feedback and share insights & recommendations for improvement.

  17. Coordination & Documentation

  18. Work with internal teams to plan calendars, session logistics, and communication with participants.

  19. Maintain updated content libraries, version control, and documentation of all programs.
  20. Prepare session reports, highlights, and learning summaries as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–3 years of experience in Learning Design / Instructional Design / Corporate Training / Facilitation.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and basic instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, , Bloom's Taxonomy – awareness level is fine).
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and/or facilitating workshops or training sessions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; [add local language if relevant].
  • Comfortable with virtual facilitation tools: MS Teams / Zoom / Google Meet, along with polls/whiteboards.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and basic Excel/Sheets; ability to create clean, visually clear slides.
  • Strong attention to detail, structure, and ability to convert ideas into learning flow.
  • High ownership, responsiveness, and comfort with deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Good-to-Have (Preferred)

  • Experience working in L&D, consulting, education, HR, or leadership development environments.
  • Exposure to leadership, behavioral, or early-career talent programs.
  • Ability to use design tools like Canva, Miro, Notion, or basic LMS platforms.
  • Experience working with stakeholders / SMEs to co-create content.

Education

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Psychology, HR, Education, Communications, Business, Instructional Design, or related fields.
  • Certifications in Instructional Design / Facilitation / Coaching will be an added advantage.
