**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Design & Planning**:

- Develop lighting concepts, plans, and specifications for projects across various sectors, including commercial, residential, retail, and public spaces.
- Create and review lighting layouts, fixture schedules, and lighting control plans.
- Utilize **AutoCAD, DIALux, or other lighting design software** to create lighting schemes and perform lighting calculations.
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), specifications, and presentation materials to communicate design intent.

**Project Coordination**:

- Collaborate with architects, engineers, interior designers, and clients to understand project requirements and constraints.
- Participate in project meetings to ensure the lighting design is aligned with the overall project goals and timelines.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to select appropriate lighting fixtures and materials.

**Technical Expertise**:

- Perform lighting calculations and simulations to ensure designs comply with lighting standards and regulations.
- Provide guidance on the installation and maintenance of lighting systems.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and sustainable lighting practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in **Lighting Design**, **Architecture**, **Electrical Engineering**, or a related field.
- **3+ years of experience** in lighting design, preferably in commercial or residential projects.
- Proficiency in **AutoCAD**, **DIALux**, **Relux**, or other lighting design software.
- Strong knowledge of lighting products, systems, and controls.
- Experience in **CAD drawing**, **lighting calculations**, **presentation & specification preparation**.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and project presentations.
- Attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics and technical accuracy.
