Post: Junior Accountant

Responsibilities and Duties:


• Create balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.


• Ensure that reports comply with accounting standards and regulations.


• Monitor and record expenses related to production and operations.


• Revise financial forecasts based on actual performance and changing conditions.


• Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile physical inventory with financial records.


• Implement and monitor internal controls to prevent fraud and errors.


• Provide necessary documentation and support for internal and external audits.


• File taxes and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.


• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and legal requirements.


• Keep accurate and up-to-date financial records, including receipts and invoices.


• Record and reconcile all financial transactions in the general ledger.


• Evaluate financial data to provide insights into profitability and performance.


• Work with various departments to understand and manage financial impacts.


• To travel as per the requirements of the management.

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

The candidates applying for the post should meet the following requirements-


• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA or other relevant certifications are a plus.


• Proven experience as an accountant or in a related financial role.


• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.


• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.


• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.


• Integrity and ethical behaviour in handling financial matters.
