Junior
Accounts Executive / Accountant

Position Summary:

The role involves maintaining accurate and up-to-date books of accounts, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, preparing financial reports, and supporting the finance team in audits and financial controls. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, reconciliations, and coordination with external agencies, banks, and auditors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements including TDS, GST, returns filing, and audits.
  • Prepare and review reconciliations of bank accounts, supplier statements, and customer accounts.
  • Generate and process sales/purchase bills, purchase orders, vendor invoices, and client invoices.
  • Follow up on rent, interest, debtors, and creditors.
  • Prepare monthly site expense reports, MIS reports, and statutory returns (TDS, GST, etc.).
  • Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and government authorities.
  • Assist in tax audits, GST audits, and project loan documentation.
  • Support payroll processing and ensure timely disbursement of salaries.
  • Collect price quotations from suppliers and maintain data bank for materials.
  • Provide support to the senior accounts team in reports and financial control systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (M. Com / CA Inter preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally / ERP / MS Excel).
  • Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
