We're now expanding by setting up a back-office operation in Hyderabad, India, to support our UK team with recruitment, compliance, and operations. It's an exciting time to join us and help build something from the ground up

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Business Setup & Recruitment Manager to lead the launch and long-term management of our India back office. This is a key role that begins with establishing our Hyderabad office and evolves into managing ongoing recruitment, compliance, and operational support for our UK business.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys building operations from scratch, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about helping a growing organisation deliver excellent care services.

Job Description

Phase 1 – Office Setup (First Month)

  • Identify and rent a suitable office space in Hyderabad.
  • Oversee the complete office setup, including procurement of furniture, IT equipment, and utilities.
  • Manage all legal and government compliance required to register and operate the business in India.
  • Negotiate vendor contracts and manage service agreements.
  • Recruit and onboard initial back-office staff as required.

Phase 2 – Ongoing Responsibilities Recruitment & Staffing

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment of care staff for UK operations, including sourcing, screening, shortlisting, and interview coordination.
  • Build and manage a small recruitment team in India as operations expand.
  • Develop and maintain candidate databases and recruitment pipelines.
  • Collaborate with the UK team to understand workforce needs and meet hiring targets.

Compliance & Administration

  • Oversee all compliance documentation and processes to meet UK care industry standards, including CQC requirements.
  • Verify and maintain essential candidate documents, such as:
  • Proof of ID (e.g., passport, driving licence)
  • Proof of address (e.g., utility bill, bank statement)
  • Right-to-work documents for employment in the UK
  • Address verification and background checks
  • Employment references and previous work history verification
  • Track and manage mandatory training compliance (e.g., safeguarding, medication, moving & handling), ensuring training is completed and records are maintained accurately.
  • Maintain secure, organised records of all compliance documents in line with GDPR and data protection laws.
  • Work with UK compliance teams to prepare for audits, inspections, and internal reviews.
  • Continuously update compliance processes to reflect changes in UK regulations.
  • Ensure no candidate is cleared for deployment until all compliance criteria are fully met.

On-Call & Operational Support

  • Participate in on-call support after office hours during weekdays.
  • Be available on-call during weekends on a rotational basis or as required.
  • Support the UK team in responding to operational needs and emergencies promptly.

Working Hours

  • The Indian back office will operate according to UK business hours, requiring flexibility to align with UK time zones and provide real-time support.

Pay: ₹650, ₹750,000.00 per month
