Sunteck Realty is hiring Manager Quality for thier Projects in Western Mumbai ensuring projects meet standards through quality assurance, control plans, and site inspections. Key duties include developing and implementing quality control plans, overseeing QC teams, conducting audits, identifying and resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with construction and regulatory standards. The role requires strong technical knowledge, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like civil engineering, and experience in quality management.

Preferred candidate profile

Key responsibilities

  • Develop quality plans: Create and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality control plans for projects.
  • Conduct inspections and audits: Perform site inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with all standards and specifications.
  • Supervise teams: Manage and guide Quality Control (QC) teams and other staff involved in quality assurance.
  • Identify and resolve issues: Find and address issues, implement corrective actions, and ensure the quality of materials and workmanship meets or exceeds standards.
  • Ensure compliance: Verify that all construction projects and operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.
  • Reporting: Maintain detailed records and reports on quality metrics, issues, and progress.
  • Improve processes: Develop strategies to prevent crises and minimize gaps in project delivery, focusing on "promise vs. delivery" processes.
  • Promote culture: Foster a customer-centric culture among internal teams and partners to improve overall customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and skills

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 12+ years of relevant experience, especially in high-rise residential projects for senior roles.
  • Certifications: Professional certification in Quality Management is a plus.
  • Technical knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of construction and quality control.

  • Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using QA/QC software and tools.
