About Civil & Urban Infrastructure Business: 

KEC's Civil business focuses on the construction of factories, warehouses, residential buildings, railway stations, metros, and sewage & water treatment plants, and comprises of four verticals –  

A. Infrastructure & Heavy Civil (Metro & Water Projects),  
B. Industrial & Hydrocarbon (Factories) ,  
C. Residential & Public Spaces (Buildings, Commercial Spaces),  
D. Defence (Civil projects in Defence sector).  

We provide professional EPC services in an area dominated either by small unorganized players or by very few large companies. Job Summary:  

Manager - Quality 

Key Accountabilities 

Duty Statements 

1. 
   

2. Has to ensure KEC procedure, standard / client specifications are followed 

1. 
   

2. He is administratively reporting to the Project Manager and functionally reporting to the Quality Head at KEC office. 

1. 
   

2. To ensure implementation and maintenance of the project quality management system and compliance to client project requirements. 

1. 
   

2. Establish, develop and maintain the quality management systems and QA Procedures. 

1. 
   

2. Ensure implementation of internal quality audit program for the project. 

1. 
   

2. To report MIS and monthly/weekly Quality deviation report to Corporate Quality office at Mumbai through the Quality Head at KEC office (site). 

1. 
   

2.  Review corrective action report submitted by concern department for any deviation to quality management system Identified during internal audit with time bounded rectification and closing. 

1. 
   

2. Maintain and update register of project corrective actions reports, QMS procedures and formats. 

1. 
   

2. Be focused on the needs of the customer / client and strive to exceed their expectations.

2. Verify the equipment's calibration record of the lab equipment 

1. 
   

2. Responsible for all site quality activities like insp. of receiving material, proper storage of material monitoring, ensuring installation and testing/commissioning of equipment's as per approved Inspection test plan for on-site with pre decided check list forms.

2. The site QC Engineer, in consultation with the Project Manager, shall compile all Quality records.

2. QA /QC Engineer will ensure the pre pour & post pour checks before proceeding for the Civil / Electrical works.
