Inventory and materials management

  • Receive, verify, and record all incoming materials, ensuring they match the specifications.
  • Stock materials properly to ensure they are easily accessible and protected from damage.
  • Issue materials to work crews based on authorized requisitions and maintain accurate records of consumption.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed, coordinating with the purchasing department.
  • Conduct regular stocktaking and periodic inventory checks to maintain accuracy.
  • Handle the disposal or return of unused materials.
  • Maintain records for tools, machinery, and cash purchases.

Staff and operational management

  • Hire, train, and supervise store staff and assign their duties.
  • Provide ongoing training on product knowledge, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Manage staff performance, conduct evaluations, and handle disciplinary issues.
  • Ensure store and storage areas are clean, organized, and safe for staff and visitors.
  • Enforce all health, safety, and security policies and conduct regular inspections.
  • Manage daily operations, including opening and closing the store.

Reporting and administration

  • Prepare and submit reports on inventory levels, consumption, and costs to project management.
  • Help in preparing material consumption reports.
  • Monitor and manage the store's budget and look for cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company and project policies and external regulations.
  • Maintain records of cash purchases, empty bags from contractors, and utility bills

Job Type: Full-time
