About the Role

Vishram International Services (VIS) is a global education and workforce mobility company connecting students and professionals to international study, training, and employment opportunities. We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and convert a large daily volume of leads across our programs — including work abroad, higher education, high school recruitment, and cultural exchange. This position requires exceptional problem-solving skills, strong leadership, and a proven ability to persuade and convert prospective clients.

Role Summary

The Sales Manager will own the revenue funnel, solve real-time problems, and maximize conversions. They will lead a small but high-performing team, ensuring every lead is followed up promptly, handled professionally, and converted into successful applications.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead Conversion & Revenue Ownership

  • Handle high daily inbound lead volumes (150+ per day) across all VIS programs.
  • Personally manage high-value or complex leads to drive conversions.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly application and revenue targets.
  • Drive cross-selling opportunities across VIS services.

Problem Solving & Process Improvement

  • Quickly identify bottlenecks or challenges in the sales process and resolve them in real time.
  • Refine sales scripts, call flows, and follow-up strategies to improve conversion rates.
  • Work closely with marketing to improve lead quality and ROI.

Client Convincing & Relationship Management

  • Build trust and credibility with prospective clients (students, parents, professionals, employers).
  • Handle objections and tough conversations with confidence and empathy.
  • Offer personalized guidance and solutions to convert hesitant leads.
  • Represent VIS professionally and uphold the company's reputation in every interaction.

Team Leadership & Training

  • Recruit, train, and mentor telecallers/lead generation executives to achieve high productivity.
  • Conduct daily huddles to review performance and challenges.
  • Provide ongoing coaching on persuasive communication and consultative selling.
  • Build a high-accountability culture with clear targets and performance dashboards.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Maintain meticulous lead tracking in CRM.
  • Provide daily/weekly reporting on KPIs, conversion trends, and revenue projections.
  • Use data-driven insights to prioritize activities and improve ROI.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
  • 3–7 years' experience in sales, recruitment, or education services.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert large lead volumes into sales.
  • Strong English and Hindi communication; additional regional languages a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead small teams and achieve aggressive targets.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Daily lead follow-up rate and contact attempts.
  • Conversion rate from lead to application across all VIS programs.
  • Monthly revenue contribution and growth rate.
  • Team productivity and retention.
  • Speed and effectiveness of problem resolution.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹45,000.00 per month
